Thanks Jen!

Julie,

How often do you top off your tank with fresh water? If you added 2 gallons of fresh water to the tank, your Salinity may be way out of wack. It may be regardless of what type of water you added.

Is your water level higher in the display? If your water level is maintaining the same height in the display but your sump level is decreasing, there could be one of two issues. One is that it is evaporating faster than your are topping off with fresh water, or you have a leak somewhere.

If your water level is getting higher in the display, you may end up flooding the room...:(

Thanks John, still dinking with that new cpr overflow. Hubby got me up at 3:30am cuz he heard the pump sucking air. :eek2: so I messed around with it, deciding finally to add about 2 gallons to the sump. Working ok now. Hate to go to work and come home to find a mess.....:mad2:

I've woken up more than once to that sound, meaning to top off before bed, but falling asleep before I did. Was it your return pump sucking air?

I really like that low profile overflow. Got me thinking...

I forgot, is your Aqualifter pump near your overflow?
