Joe was kind enough to give me his 40. Luckily everything appears to have survived the move with no problems.

Very nice:D

If you ever start noticing your polyp extension going away I would suspect the bicolor. Looks like he is behaving so far.

Thanks for the comments. I thought (worried) about that as well chris...i tried to nestle the bi away from everyone. There are way to many pieces in there for any growth at all, but for now it will have to work.

Sweet pics, Daniel. And to think I knew you back when you were first starting out! (lol). Seriously, if/when the time comes to frag some stuff, give me a shout. I have a few acros and some others that can always be fragged.

Scott

yep...remember way back when Scott? Your the first person i ever met off of central....back when we were young and still had all our own teeth...lol

To the few people asking for frags and such, I got an email from a friend here that mentioned seeing some possible red bugs. I've been looking tonight, and it seems i do have some in there. So no trading for now.

RB's are easy... Nuke it with some Interceptor and you're all good. Since you've got wrasses (Interceptor will kill a large number of pods), though, it might be better to pull the acros into a separate tank to nuke them. That gets a little more involved, though...

In the top left corner, is that a montipora digitata? If so, what kind? Looks purple in the pic? If it is monti, I would definatley like a frag of that when available. I'm gettin' good results out of those in my 20 under T-5s.

hmm. I haven't heard this. I might snatch him out of there before things start to encrust. I appreciate it.

As far as this interceptor treatment goes....could i get some help please? I've never treated with the stuff. It would be easy to pull all the coral out and treat in a seperate container. Nothing has encrusted on any large pieces of rock yet. Do the bugs stay on any rock or possibly in the water column?

*OMG*...my search just sent through on a saturday afternoon

Yeah, it seems pretty inert to everything else. You'll lose a bunch of pods (and crabs and shrimp), but not all and they'll come back. My mandarin found plenty to keep in four fat rolls during/after the treatment.
