wow, our pump problems are finally over. after spending over $300 on a new pump and having it not be able to make our ~15 foot head, mark at AM took an old pool pump that we had laying around and cleaned it up, lubed it, and its now working awesome on the tank! can't tell you what a load off it is....and it was a free fix! he wouldn't even take anything for his time. i just wanted to say thanks! :celeb1:

also, if anybody needs a 3600gph pump, they're selling my $300 pump for $200 for me. it only has 5 minutes worth of use on it! :spin2:

Oh...what kind of pump is it? I would have thought that about any $300 pump would be able to make a 15ft rise.

its a reeflo dart 3600. when they say 12' head max, they mean it.

Mark is a really great person. I know a lot of lfs would have wanted money. Nice to see a place that cares about the small people. rather than the money.
