Just wanted to say thanks to Ronnie and Dawn for letting me see their beautiful tank. Ronnie has done a tremendous job! I was very impressed with how he set up his RO/DI, ect..... Lots of top of the line equipment to boot.

Thanks Lori, it was a pleasure to finally have you out. Dawn and I both enjoyed it alot. Thanks also for the kind words on the tank. We've had lots of good examples. Maybe someday our tank will be as nice as yours As for the equipment, you know how guys are with our toys. lol But, you came a week too early, I just got my new H&S skimmer yesterday. Can't wait for the weather to clear so I can make a trip to pick up the plumbing. If anyone has had experience setting up a recirculating skimmer with a direct feed from the over-flow, please pass along any and all helpful tips.

Our RO/DI is plumbed into the feed for the hot water tank in a utility room in the garage. There is also a drain in the floor for waste water. I was also able to pick up a large amount of tubing at Chappell Supply to run the waste water to my red bud tree in the hot months.

Does that huge storage tank have a shutoff system on it or do you have to shut it off manually?

Lori, I wish i had the ability to take shots of the tank. Maybe I'll see Charlie at CCA and get him out with his camera.

Russ, the auto shut-off is a simple float valve that I purchased with the RO/DI system. It cost $8 and works like a charm. The folks at Chappell installed it for me when I picked up the tank.
