Thanks to matt and everyone at the Coral Reef!

Too funny Randy!
Wish I could have made it today.
Although I'm not an official Club Member, I know many of you guys and would love to get involved.
My biggest problem is that I have a 3 yo and a 6 yo and no real child care available for me to be able to come to meetings.
I do want to figure out a way to get more involved with the Club though.

On another note, I also wanted to say that I've really enjoyed the changes I've been seeing at The Coral Reef and have definitely gotten a lot more interested in stopping by and bringing what small amount of business I can.
I love seeing the Mantises (Mantids?) and all of the cool new fish that have been showing up, and I also love the cool new Nano tanks you guys have been getting in.
Keep up the good work!

FWIW I took my 4 and 6 year old to the meeting Today;)
It's really not a problem at the vast majority of meetings;)
I take my kids to most meetimgs I'm able to make. It makes it nicer for the kids that are there:D

Ummm, have you met my kids?
They're not psycho or anything and they've definitely been taught manners, but they also don't hold still well at all.
My 6 yo would probably be fine if he had other kids to interact with, he's a very social little guy, but if I had taken the 3 yo today he would have been peering into all of the sumps.
I guess one of my concerns is that I would spend so much time trying to keep track of the kiddos that I wouldn't be able to interact with the adults much.
But hey, if you guys are willing to try putting up with my 2 lil guys at least once, mebbe I'll try coming to a meeting with them.
For those of you who know who I am and were at the Knoxville Frag Swap last year, they're the 2 little boys I had with me there.

My kids are usually good at meetings, but I only inflict one at a time on members' homes. If both came, it would be like I brought six. ;)

I'm not sure Chris understands how good his kids are... ;)

Weetie!

Your kids are great! I could definitely see the 3 year old getting into the sumps though, he is a character!

I'm going to try to make a meeting soon even though I'm not technically a member either. Sounds like y'all had a great meeting.

Left them at SoccerTaco... I stayed later than I was supposed to... :)

But I was good and refrained from the shots of Patron...

Yes yes the patron was nice..if i rember right you were the only one who did not take a shot...You have more will power than me my friend

Olivia!!!
Been meaning to PM you lately.

Hey Girl, I'll make you a deal.
If you go to a meeting and help me keep the rugrats in line, I'll go too.

I had a great time at the meeting and at Soccer Taco afterwards...I think (j/k). Perhaps I will refrain from ordering Patron so vigorously next time. All good though. It was nice seeing everyone again and meeting a few people for the first time. Maybe after about ten more of these meetings I will have everyone's name down (I am terrible with names).

That's okay. I knew what you meant. :)

It just takes some of us a little longer to figure these things out... ;)

lol

Sean~ I can't imagine what your bar tab was!!! :D We have an edge in that we already knew everyone else and only had to remember your name...

Paul~ I do what I can... I'm sure everyone figured it out eventually, as Scott pointed out... ;)

Thanks to CR folks for hosting! Sorry I had to skip out early and missed the fun at Soccer Taco, I had to straighten up the house for the UFC party later that night.

Thanks to Paul for the frags...his pics of the grateful deads didn't do them justice... they actually look quite nice!

Randy~Dave and I split the bill and it was definitely not the smallest bar tab I have ever had but definitely not the biggest either. :eek1: Although the edge that you refer to must be a little rusty because my name is Seth, not Sean (all good).:p

I had a good time at the meeting too.

Unfortunately I'm finding that actually working at the reef often leaves me with little time to talk to everyone that I want to. Both Randy and Kim have been in there and I've been unable to speak to them hardly at all each time!

I'm just glad I got to put those incredible yasa hashe gobies in someone's tank that I know so that I might be able to see them again. They are the COOLEST! That shrimp might be too small to effectively dig a burrow for them but he'll grow fast and I bet he gives it a really good try. At least the fish are kinda small as well. That's going to be a great addition to the tank.

I suppose we'll need to have a meeting at my house once they get established, then. :) The shrimp is trying to dig a home for one of them now, anyway.

Now I just need to get a green goby and another active fish or two to give the yashias something to guard against.
