Well I got my first anemone the other day from dbates.... and The first 2 days I had it, it seemed to be doing GREAT... I always thought when people said they moved by themselves to find a more suitable place in the tank I thought they meant like an inch or two, needless to say he can be clear across the other side of the tank when I wake up in the morning....

This morning when I woke up though he was attached to the glass all the way at the top of the tank and he was all closed up. He had a strand of what looks like a mucus or something coming off him.... Yesterday he ate a chunk of rods food that I put into the tank, I would think thats okay for him to eat....

Heres a pic of him yesterday:

Here are some pics of him this morning.....

I checked all of the water parameters today and they were as follows:

SG - 1.024
PH - 8.4
Alk - 1.7
Calcium - 400
Nitrate - 0
Nitrite - 0
Ammonia - 0

Is there anything else I should be testing for in the water ??? All the other corals seems fine along with all the snails and shrimp.

I use Kent nano reef parts A&B everyday like they suggest, and have been using purple up to try to get my coraline started.

He is in a BioCube 29gallon with the nanotuners lighting mod, so there is 144w of PC lighting in the tank.

Any suggestions ??

My BTA moved around my 29G tank for 4 days until it found a perminate spot in the back of my tank on some LR. I Have a lot of water flow towards the back of my tank. I have a M/J 1200 sitting 3 inches away from the BTA aswell. Its been 4 months now and It hasnt moved since. Also home to a saddleback.

What ever happened to this?

An updated status would help searchers.... or people like me, experiencing the same thing with their nem
