Thats it, IM DONE !!!

We have a dehumidifier. But it also doesnt help having like 4 different tanks throughout my small house. I talked t them and they said i can keep the 120, but i have to get rid of everythng else and no more saltwater because of how expensive it is. And im fine with that, im just unsure of what to do with the surviving saltwater fish. I made a board in the tank raised livestock selling forum if anyone would be interested in anything. All the prices there are highly negotiable ...

The thing about the tests is after all those deaths, the water shouldn't be pristine... And since you don't have live rock from what I can see, you should have nitrates. Something about the tests are off I think. Get the water tested by a LFS or something. It's possible the first death or two were from overstocking the tank, and then the rest were because of ammonia/nitrite poisoning since you didn't do anything since the water tested perfectly. This would also explain why a 60% water change helped the last two fish. If it was some sort of contaminant, I'd think it would still be harmful because it's still 40% old water.

Good luck restarting with either freshwater or saltwater. Planted angelfish tanks are beautiful.

Perhaps take a rest and go with freshwater for awhile. You can always switch back some time in the future.

Also, running a freshwater tank is nothing to be ashamed of!

I have a 250g FO system with big angels, triggers and tangs, but I also keep a 50g freshwater tank with beautiful orandas, ryukins, pearlscales and black moors (ie goldfish). Goldfish are beautiful and also have personality.
