Thawed frozen food?

Okay, I have an idea to sort of spread out my feeding of frozen food. Could I get a container fill it with water, throw in my frozen food and have an aqualifter programed (via a controller) to feed the tank through out the day? I guess really my question is; does the food foul if left thawed?

Yeah, the food will foul over time. Are you planning on pumping food through the aqua lifter? If so, I imagine it'll get clogged pretty quick.
