The 720- take 2

Awesom tank! Very nice rockwork! I can't wait to see how everything grows out! I like you went with t5 I had excellent growth with them in the past! What return pump are you running.... ?

looks incredible! I plan on getting an A.G.E. tank much like yours (but 300g) and an AA sump in a similar style, so I will be following along to see how you like them! The main difference will be ours will be plumbed to a remote fish room.

I love the look of that shelf in front of the recessed tank, a spot to sit and watch the action. Great idea.

I am up in San Luis Obispo, if I make it down south, I'd love to check the system out, ever give tours?

Absolutely fabulous! The tank, the viewing area, the equipment being neat as all hell. Heck I might even have to steal the frag tank idea built into the sump (although obviously it doesn't offer and quarantine protection but if you have lots of stuff to clip/grow out that you know where it came from...then that's a super awesome grow out area!

Thank you very much...yeah it's just for frags from colonies that I grow in my tank. I dip with Bayer and scrape the bases of any new corals I get but I have never quarantined.

Here's a few close-ups I took the other day so you can see the cement, I used quite a bit but its aragonite based so it doesn't hurt anything

Jason tank is looking good. What sand did you use.Do you have any rock left over trying to get my tank finished.I think we need to start an AGE tank club.

thanks Ivan, unfortunately I used every bit of rock I had and even had to order an extra box from Marine Depot to finish it off, count me in for the club, I'm very happy with the tank they built! For the sand I used a combination of Oolite, Fiji Pink and Crushed Coral. A nice bed of fine sand for wrasse and starfish with crushed coral on top to keep the sand storms in check

That link is taking me to some store ap, maybe that's how their site works on mobile devices but I did purchase it from Marcorocks.com

gotcha. I think that application may be too big for my small tank and I may go with the Epo Putty they sell. Hope it works.
