The adventure of my Orange Spot Goby!

I recently added an Orange Spot Goby to my 29G tank. The only inhabitants right now are the snails, hermits, and the Goby, my g/f named him/her "Spot". A few days ago i noticed i couldnt see him in any of his burrows and wondered what happened to him. I figured if he had died, the hermits would be where he was. However, the were scattered throughout the tank. He was no where to be seen.
A few minutes ago as i walked past the tank, i glanced down in the fuge and noticed something white in the pump chamber. It was Spot.
I am guessing....but he went over the top of the inner overflow box, up the siphon tube, down the down pipe to the fuge. The downpipe empties into a small area of LR rubble, then into the Chaeto and the he went over and under the baffles into the last chamber where the pump is.
I just put him back into the main tank and he is perched up on a rock and seems to be doing ok!!!

Orange spots are notorious jumpers, so next time he/she might go carpet surfing, take the necessary precautions.

My pink-spotted goby took a leap out of the tank and onto the floor. This is in my tank at work while I was at home! Luckily, the groomer at the clinic happened to be talking to a client and heard the wet smack of fish on tile and investigated. She was able to find him and get him back in the tank quick enough that he lived. He managed to get out through a gap in the eggcrate that covers the tank (I had to make the gap to accomodate the HOB skimmer). Now when I can't spot him immmediately, I do a floor-check!

Glad that yours was ok too. Crazy jumping fish!
