I went to Marcye's new store this week and let me tell you, it is absolutely amazing. She just opened and the store is three times the size of the old one. No more space for grow-out, all done elsewhere. Now you can actually stand up, not be crowded, and buy what you see. This place is so great. She kept her prices very much the same and the quality she has in her new store is superb. I got a new baby picasso perc(I'll post pics sometime soon). The corals look so great, the fish setups are no-copper setups. Marcye just keeps improving...I can't believe how far that little store has come. Everything is now in the new place, so now's time to check it out.

yup i agree.. i stopped in today and the new shop is really nice...a great shop!! i have also recently been to aquarium fanatics on the west side of town, which is also a great new shop in town that has a great selection of corals and fish. i have also been to aquaria studio, also a nice shop. i would really like to take the chance to thank marcye, ross, and vihn for stepping it up for us hobbists!!! thanks guys!! i wouldn't hesitate to refer people new in the hobby , or others who just don't know; to any of the three of these shops. we are lucky to have them!!

I agree, the new SITC is totally amazing. The corals of course are awesome. I picked up a killer yellow Caroliniana, a bright green plate coral with a bright purple center, and bunch of other stuff. My wife actually had a good time picking out corals for me to buy :D The old store was great, but now it is so much better... Also very family friendly, has some comfortable seating for the "ladies in waiting" and even some reef related gifts, nice jewelry and cards, etc. (more things to interest the significant other while you are drooling over the sps).

I was very impressed as well, plus every time I walk in there my wife agrees to let me get a bigger tank..... a few more trips and Ill have a 440:)

Just want to take a minute to thank everyone who took time out of their busy holiday schedules to come to share our opening night Friday. I was totally floored by how many people attended! Can you imagine even a tiny fraction of all those who attended trying to smash themselves into the old store? I also have to thank our sponsors' reps, Pete and Keith, who presented awesome sessions on live food and water treatment. I've had lots of positive feedback on both. I did really enjoy the "tongue-in-cheek" enquiry about the caterers choice of chilled shrimp: "Isn't that a bit of a conflict?" Just too funny. Thanks to the folks at "Mr. Margarita" for setting up the ultimate margarita station and to all our friends who lent their time, knowledge and effort to get us open in time. Again, thanks to everyone who attended! Marcye
