The annoying beauty of the haddoni carpet

So I know many have experienced the highs and the lows with this species. I currently keep a green one I got from Petco of all places. It is thriving. Eating a good portion of my clean up crew. Just curious to hear other's stories as I believe there will be many. Here is a picture of The Rancor as I like to call it.

I have had three haddoni. My first was a petco one and was in fair shape. It colored up good and grew quickly, by eating broken up prawns a couple times a week and it ate many snails, hermits and zapped my lawnmower blenny. It was a tank but I traded it and it's tank for my lobster tank. I got one from petco a month ago. It was bleached and floppy and had a gapping mouth. The manager gave it too me saying it was no longer for sale and a write off. It has made a great comeback and has regained most of it's color, tight mouth, and rigid body postures. I waited 3 1/2 weeks till it's first spot feeding. And I have a large 12" haddoni that has a very unique color. Lavender disc an yellow tips. It's a healthy one but I have lost many cleanup crews. I love haddoni's and can't wait to get a blue one.

Mine just zapped one of my scissor tail gobies. The fish managed to escape but is looking pretty rough. It's hard to say if it'll pull through. My experice with this usually tells me they look ok for a while and then in the next 24 hours they're dead.

That new one you got is very unique. I don't know if I've ever seen one quite like it.

It actually looks like my scissortail goby may pull through. Still looks rather tattered but is eating and swimming normally.

My big red haddoni ate my tuxedo urchin spines and all. All that got discharged was the shell. And all that happen in 1 day.

I doubt that it will survide. My Powder Blue Tang got zapped, seem to improved but loose it ability to swim in the night. I put him in a eggcrate box to keep im from flow into the anemone, but he died the next day.
