The AZ FRAG 2013 Artwork Contest winners.

Over a month ago we announced the AZ FRAG Artwork contest to get a creative helping hand from other reefers out there. And here are the results from the contest.

First place of the $75 visa card goes to Coral Dreams (Jose).


Second place of the $50 visa card goes to OnlyTono (Antonio).


Third place of the $25 visa card goes to Lockeyy (Allen).


And last but not least is an honorable mention to AZTBS (Tiffany) for her Arizona Flag Tang design.


Thank you to everyone that participated. These designs will help us distinguish ourselves as the group of dedicated true Arizona reefers that we are.

I love the tang hcause it incorporates az state colors. The others.... Not so much. This is why I don't think voting on such things should only be done at the meetings. A lot of us don't attend the meetings, yet we are still frag members. A voting system could have easily been set up through the website. Maybe food for thought.

Yeah we tossed around a few ideas on voting, but in the end we just voted as the board to save time.

We do want to get some fun photo contest going soon. We can set up some voting polls for those.
