The beauty of aptasia

Too bad these things are such pests. A macro lens and flash can actually make them look appealing.

Very cool! If I could have one big one like that that didn't spit out a hundred babies, that would be awesome. :)

You can.. In it's OWN tank with a continual cleaning of the walls floor and make sure it is BB. hahahaha

Nice Bubble Algae too.

I think this is crazy talk....aptasias pretty? Maybe so. Kind of how engineer gobies are cool looking.....but wau too destructive to have in a nice tank. Just my opinions, of course.

I had a 10g with a leaf fish and I just let it go crazy. That's when I noticed the blues in some. I miss that little junk tank, not the prettiest, but very interesting and entertaining.

I've always thought that aiptasia and kenya trees would be ideal tank inhabitants, if only they came in vivid colors and (in the case of aiptasia) were harmless to other animals.

Damn,

After viewing your post, I started looking around and found one in sand bed. BB algae also.
Aphasia I can figure out its demise, but how's about the BB algae?

Sincerely,

David
