So by the end of the day i had all of the back filtratin area eliminated, thank god , and let me tell you that was one of the biggest pains in the behind ever. Next step working on buffing out more scratches.

Nice website, and great menu! Wouldn't expect you to buy diner, but would love to see the behind the scenes of your tank when finished. My wife and I will make the trip.

The sump looks good, are you doing RDSB? What a mess the old filter was, I'm sure your glad that is gone! Have you decided the specs of the system and the future inhabitants?

On removing the scratches....if they are as bad as you say you will be there forever using just Novus 1,2 & 3. You are going to want to wet-sand those out with 800 grit sandpaper then hit it with a DA buffer with a foam pad using Novus 3, then work your way down to 1. Make sure you use a sanding block so you don't create waves in the acrylic.

LOL yup, poke nachos are a fan favorite. And i gained about a 4" X 6' area. so in my eyes it was worth it, just didnt like the idea of the center area of tank less deep then the rest

Sorry. "Duel Action". Usually called a random orbital sander.

Looks like we may have to make a road trip from Findlay. That menu looks pretty creative, the teaser shot earlier looked great!
You may consider some Vortechs for flow. I had one and traded it for a couple Tunzes, and a controller. I wish I had the Vortech back, it seemed to have a much wider flow than my 6100s. 1 MP40W in my 120 made pretty adequate flow, 2 wouldn't have hurt. Now they have MP60s I haven't actually seen one but they have to be monsters!
