The Beginning Of My 300g Restaurant Build

Well you see, this tank is 9 years old and was fresh water for that whole time. It was used and abused. There are seriously a ton of scratches. I have spent at least 12 hours of complete buffing time so far on the tank. I expect i should have it plumbed and water tested in the next week or so. You will see pics ASAP

Updates coming soon..... This is crazy time at the restaurant wioth xmas parties etc... so been extremely busy. The sanding and buffing is done. I will post pics soon.

Tagging along to see how it all turns out. How bout a pic or two of the tank you have at the house. We need to see some water. :)

I have also been helping with a buffing job on a 4'x4'x18" cube with center overflow. The tank had some major scratches in it. We DA'd it with 1000grit and then 1500grit. The Novus should be here in the morning, It sure has been a process but it will be worth it when its done.

Heres some pics of my tank at home to hold you guys over for a bit till i get more of the picture for the 300g uploaded.

Next step is drilling my overflows, they need to be on the right side of tank because underneath the tank as you can see are beer coolers. So i built a cabinet to the right of the tankfor my sump and equipment.

For the overflows im just building DIY 90 degree overflows with strainers, (pictured below) its 2 2" bulkheads so the drain is 2 2" PVC

Here is the hole drilled for one of the returns, 1" 1/2" return one on this side and also running a pipe behind and around to the other side of the tank
