The best aquarium sealant/silicone?

Does anyone here have any any recommendations on what they feel is the best aquarium sealant/silicone? I'm repairing a tank right now and it seems that all of the the silicone sealants i am finding are for aquariums 100G and under besides the All-Glass silicone...i found this stuff by a company called NUCO and its called Nuflex 333, its specifically designed for aquariums but only up to 100G

http://www.nucoinc.com/pdf/Silicone Sealants/333_TDS.pdf

would it be safe to use that (or any other silicone for that matter) on a much larger then 100G tank as long as there is bracing on it?

i think you are reading they like the use of 1/4" glass up to 30G

right below that it states how it can be used for aquariums up to 100G or 400L

Hi,

Is this stuff any different than the GE sealant you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot just for aquariums?

Dave

from what i have seen...GE doesnt recommend using Silicone I on aquariums and their customer service department even says that if you ask them

would there be a chance that salty critter could get that in for me?
If they do, let me know. I have not seen it, except on tanks while visiting Europe, and I think it's the silicone I saw there that cures more transparent than what we have here. Kind of nice to know that if you are a little sloppy, no one will see it once the tank is filled with water.

well i found a site it can be ordered from and it can be ordered in black or clear

here is the link...its between this or ordering elos silicone if that is even possible

oh and this is being used to repair a 300G aquarium
