the ati is just out of my price range(though I might just save for it

My question is how quit and what type of ballest do the Aquacintics 24" use-is it magnetic or electronic because if it's magnetic then I'm forget them all together, also are the quiet?

Electic and there quiet......i don't know if anyone makes a magnetic ballast for t5's anymore. Seems everyone used electric. I know there's still mag pc ballasts out there but.......not so much t5's.


I wouldn't waste my money on an ATI for a 20g tank.....maybe a 48" or larger though. But i'd still go with someone else just because of price alone. But thats personal preference, i don't have over a grand to throw on a light.
