GREAT LOOKING TANK !!!!!! Can sure see the thought process was a over load .. Looks like you spent years planning this set up. Glad I found it and plan to tag along. Keep up the good work. I do not think i see any ideas of rock formations. What do you plan. Gary in Oklahoma

time for an update again

i went to a fishy meeting the other night and felt that i needed to push on a little after not having a tank for so long

so, on friday my 500 lt water butt turned up, its well built and is aproximately 10mm thick

heres a couple of pictures, this was after i had drilled it to add a float for my RO system and a 20mm george fischer tap at the bottom, so as i can drain if neccesary

this pictur shows the sheer size of the container, with a regulator set on top for scale

after the RO water container was istalled

i set about making the picture frame to go around the tank, this was made out of 9" skirting board and will be sanded and filled, then painted in a magnolia eggshell to finish it off

i think it will do the job

i also started to construct the eggcrate platform for inside the tank

heres a few more pics
