Those are really good shots. And in Austin of all places! Your focal point in "frozen tundra" kinda resembles "frozen turdra". Hey, how much ice did you guys get down there?

thanks everyone!

JR719- we got over an inch where we live I have no idea what the hill country got but a lot of power lines went down b/c of the ice

Would have never guessed Austin to be iced in. We wound up with a little over an inch also. Haven't lost power yet (fingers crossed) but supposed to be hit again this weekend.

Good luck on the ice.

thats nothin, :)

in NC a few years back we had really bad ice. i will attempt to find pictures of the woods behind my house. trees were falling over and branches breaking all day long. i watched a tree down the road slowly fall over from the weight!
the trees were amazing looking since they had a layer of ice covering every inch of branch.

I know its nothing lol but in Texas anything frozen to the ground is a HUGE deal:lol:

I think you guys in Texas have got more snow and ice this season than we have here in Ohio! :D
Its snowing here right now so we may catch up. :)

Nice photos. I really like the 3rd from last.

Sorry, I can't relate. I live in Montana. It rarely gets below 50 degrees in the winter here.

Mike

Oops forgot the minus sign. Should read -50 degrees. LQSMOSTQFNTF (Laughing quietly and smugly to myself over something that is quite frankly not that funny)

LOL..I'm ready for summer or atleast some sun and I will tell my dogs to watch out for the yellow snow
