the coral corral

I haven't shopped the ORA corals there, but the corals I have bought have been priced well. Definitely worth the trip to check out Coral Corral and Fish and Other Ichthy Stuff. They're just a minute or two apart.

Their online prices are high..yes. Not the norm, though.

Nah prices were pretty fair when you shop there...cheaper than their online site. Can't remember the ORA stuff but I picked up a nice H. magnifica anemone there for less than half of what Orlando stores charge. There were $20 acros and zoas. It is worth the trip just to see the place but I would call first if you are looking for something specific. Hit up FAOIS too if you are going there.

They have a pretty nice selection and prices arent to bad and the good thing is that its like 3 min from FAOIS. If your looking for something in general, between the two you will find it.

I have picked up several ORA corals from there including Pearlberry, Red Planet, BOP, and Bellina. These corals were all mini-colonies not frags. The price is better than online and any LFS I have visited in Orlando or Tampa. The quality of coloration is sick(radium 20k)... I have also managed to stumble into Pink Lemonade for $40 from Emsters tank. I agree with MrHarvard, both stores are most excellent, I go to both of them every other week. Livestock mostly from the corall though... All in all, both stores are a must visit in Tampa!

40 for a pink lemonade I want one!! ^_^

FYI, FAOIS is not open on Sundays. Coral Corral is, though. But if you make the trip, you really should check out both stores!

I will be ready to frag the PL pretty soon, if you are interested... Don't forget WWC, I have scored really hard to get corals there too... Seasons Greetings, Setosa, Shawn Bennets Tort, Palmers Blue Milli, they also deserve some crazy respect as far as the goods go.....

I live close to the coral corrall and FAOIS and they are the only local stores I will go to. They both have their perks. Since you asked about the ORA prices in store the big names are $60. oregon tort, red planet, hawkins I think and pearlberry. There are more and a good selection in stock. Some of the corals that have been available for a while from ora are less money. To me it seems both stores are equal in price unless FAOIS has changed their prices. On the website it states spend $300 and the shipping is free. Since shipping is expensive you have to inflate prices to keep some profit. Not from their mouth just what I am thinking. The store is definitely a site to see anyway so go in and be pleasantly surprised. Both stores in my opinion.
MAy see you there I spend way to much time at both places.

I went yesterday I'd I have to give both stores 2 thumbs up! If I had three I would give coral corral 3 thumbs up. Very large "frags" for fair prices. Their frags are huge! I have kind of gotten used to the .5 to 1 inch frags in town so I was shocked when I saw the size of these frags there. I got a roscoe's Mini colony for $40 bucks and a nice little frag of white zoas for 20 bucks. I was very impressed and I will be back when I'm in tampa again.

Yeah some of those ORA frags have been there a while. They just get bigger and better looking all the time. Glad you enjoyed your stop.
