no, not the NIN CD.

Just got back from what was more or less an emergency trip to Wichita to say our final good bye's to my great grandmother. get back walk into the house and HMM? its really warm in here. drop the suite case and run to the tank. all the new SPS gone several other corals are toast. lost 15 so far and others look like they are on their way out. tank temp 92. check the A/C and its turned off!!! ***. tank sitter didn't touch it and said he thought we turned it off while we were gone to save energy. wife says she doesnt remember turning it off.. I just quit smoking this week so i'm already on edge. I'm ready to sell it all off and quit after something so stupid as a switch ended all that work. wife wants to rebuild. IDK.. just venting i guess. this sucks.

Iam so very sorry!!!
Did you just suffer coral loss, or fish also. If there is anyway I can help, let me know.
That is a crying shame.

rebuild man

there are plenty of people here for support and new ideas

think of it as an excuse to upgrade or try new things

tank temp is down to 85 now thanks to a big fan blowing on the sump area. turned the lights back on. ugh, makes me sick. the skimmer is having fun pulling all the junk out of the water. looks like i'm about to have a cyano bloom the sand has a light layer of goo growing on it.

I would just do some water changes, and run the tank like normal for a while to see what comes back, etc

did you lose all of your snails and crabs and that stuff?

Sorry to hear this Josh, I knew You where here in Wichita and to go home anmd have that happen is a real drag. I hope You can make a fast comeback,

Youknow by looking at the pictures , I think You will save more then You think, I think let the temp get back to normal slowly. Don't shock them any more then you have to

More support to stick with it. The tank wasn't a total lifestock eraser. Its only a bump in the road.

Lots of potential on all those bleached corals...add some carbon, do a small water change and wait...meanwhile, do not overfeed the tank. Sorry to hear about this freak accident.
