Big Minge struttin' his stuff!
The Shark/ Ray/ Eel tank has been underway now for at least a month. Far and away the most challenging and physically exhausting fish move to date. I figure after I moved (2) 550g acrylics, a 400g tub and 1000lbs LR and another 500lbs LS and 275 gallons of old tank water I am due for a rest!
This shot gives you a better indication of the depth of the tank.
I built the PVC sub-structure to elevate the entire rock ledge off of the sand. The purpose of this 550 is to get my Epaulette shark and round stingray breeding program underway.
This is the Sump / pond. 400gal or so...
I have various LPS corals and Chaeto growing out under the 400MH.
The other 550 off to the side will be a Lagoon-Style Mixed reef system. The nutrient from the Predator system will provide plenty of food for the LPS and Chaeto!
The 2 550's will flank a projector screen on either side for the ultimate in viewing pleasure!
