i recently changed seaclone 100 on my 30 gallon tank for a ASM mini G. I had been using the clone for a few months and it required a lot of tinkering but pulled out some green teaish stuff. smelled a little rank but w/e. Initially i was sort of dissappointed with how the mini G has been working till i came home yesterday lol. I have read that it takes a week to break in skimmers but mine has been going for at least 2 or 3 before it started outperforming the seaclone. The gunk in the container was 1/4 full of dark brown mud and smelled like rotten eggs. I gagged when i took off the top lol. i was so excited whats wrong with me^^

Yeah, I feel the same way. Whenever I "show off" the skimmate to my wife she thinks I'm nuts. But it is nice knowing that that crud is no longer in your tank.
