the heaty question

Will running a Turbelle powerhead 1000/2 give off roughly as much heat as pulsing a Turbelle electronic 7200/2 between 10W max. and 5W min.?
I am not trying to split hairs but as I live almost on the equator and I have not had to use a chiller yet so far, every bit of heat reduction helps.

The 7200/2 should give off less heat because at least 1-2W is lost outside the aquarium in the transformer and driver.
