Why not start a ID thread so all the new reefers can find what there zoas are?

Obviously there should be a place on here to get ID's. Otherwise people would not keep asking. The continuous ID threads with one or two replies are annoying.

It's a good idea, the problem is that people don't agree on what zoanthid is what, and people have different "guidelines" for what zoanthid has what made up name.

Ex- "No, that can't be [enter weird name] because I have a frag from the original colony and the green area doesn't extend far enough...."; so on, and so forth.

I think people should just inquire things such as what area they are from, whether they are zoanthids or palys, and not what name to give them, or how much they can sell them for. Just enjoy having a colony that is visually appealing to you and brightens up the tank depending on what works best for your tank, whether you scored a "Bangkok Nuclear Waste Berlin-Schönefeld International Airport Rudraksha of Shiva" colony or not

Then again, I was never really a big zoanthid keeper, what do I know?
