The Iwagumi Reef

You sure those are Trochus babies? Look a whole lot like Collonista snails to me. If you see them getting bigger than about 1 cm then they may be trochus, but look very much like the Collonista snails that pop up in my tanks.

BTW, very nice looking tank!

I´m 100% sure they are trochus babies. I´ve see any collonista snail in the tank, but are different, more small and rounded.
I pull out of the tank the trochus babies, because they obstructed my vortech pumps continuosly, but the biggest was aprox. 2 cm diameter.

Nice set up and clams. I don't know this is already too late or you have taken a step to get rid of those Vermetid snails on those clams. They can spawns fast and over take your CLEAN system. I had an out break of this creature once on my nano tank. it was all over the rocks and equipments.

Best

I,ve a good Cleaning Crew (25-30 Cerith, 5-10 Nassarius, 25-30 Clibanarius tricolor, 6-10 Paguristes cadenati, 2 Strombus and 1 Archaester), but the secret is Very Low Nutrients.

yano, i must say that your tank looks awesome. nice aquascape, great selection of corals (Acropora Turaki is my favorite, never seen anything like it), but what catches my eye the most is your collection of inverts... they are awesome. in my future tank i will try to mimick your selection.

Sorry, but i don´t understand your question. (my english is a few poor) Which means "cc" and "FTS"?

Hi.
That's a great tank!
Did you have any problem with the inverts? Specially the crabs..
Best regards
Alex.

No problems, all my hermit crabs are tiny, and others are very peaceful.

Very nice! Looks like an Acropora Caroliniana to me. Slow grower and one of my favorites!

I think caroliniana have finer branches. Look here:
