Welcome to The Jungle, a LFS in Murfreesboro who is now a sponsor of MTRC. William & his wife Krystal, who are the new owners of The Jungle are offering all MTRC members a 10% discount on all purchases at the store.

They also are starting to carry some corals, & a full line of DT's and many other reef items. They will at some point be hosting a meeting for our club and plan to help with our Frag Swap.

If you are coming to the Sept meeting at my house, you will get a chance to meet him as he plans on being there and will furnish a door prize or 2. So your next trip to Murfreesboro, be sure to stop in and say hi, and if you live here in Rutherford county be sure to check out the store.

I stopped by there yesterday and grabbed a coral banded shrimp. Krystal was manning the shop and she was super nice. They seem like good people, I wish 'em the best.

Awesome. We've got a big M'boro contingent, so getting a LFS in the area interested in our club and in helping/hosting can't really be a bad thing. Since I think I'm about as far NW as they get for this club and M'boro is about as far SE, I can't say I'll stop in too often... but I'm always looking for excuses to check out new stores and I think I'll be down in that area this weekend.

Go North on Memorial out past State Farm and almost to the VA Hospital...... or hmmmm coming from your house on Murfreesboro highway (Broad Street) turn left on Thompson Lane (big BP station on your left) and when you get to memorial turn right & it will be 1 block on your right.

I went to check it out tonight. William is super nice and knows what he's doing and very honest. Very nice guy to talk to. I hope they do well, I just bought some Chromis since I only have one left when the other one kicked the bucket after 4 years. Just wish they weren't so far to drive. But I'll support their business and make the drive anyway just because he's super friendly to deal with.

He's definitely really nice. I met him a while back when I went in after Norman got his puffer and recommended checking it out.

Can't wait to see the business kick off a bit!

How did you get there, Michael? Did you take Thompson Ln. all the way around?

I actually took old fort to memorial to get there. Then I took 840 back to 24 to get home. I grew up in murfreesboro, but things have changed so much since I moved away. I don't remember where everything is at exactly.....

does the jungle have a website
I would love to see what he gets in before i go there
hes not far but gas is hi
oh I went last week and its a nice setup
bought some water and a fish

I don't think he has a website, but I will confirm with him next time I'm in there, however I went today to pick up a rat he ordered for me. (snake food) so it may be a few days.

Norman

hey steve, your little red corn snake (Yoshi) eats thawed pinkie mice, but my big python (Gypsy) get live mice, except this week when he graduated to a medium rat. :) so he should be ok for 2-3 weeks now.

Norman

yea, I was surprised at how well all my babies ate. I still cup feed the 2 I have (put them in a deli cup with the mice) to keep them from injesting any aspen bedding...

I'm so glad all my snakes eat the frozen thawed food. But I have heard ball pythons can be a bit picky on food...
