The Last Sand

Thanks to Lonnie & Kathy C for hooking me up with sand for my tank.

As the post lists, this will be the last time this tank gets sand in it. It is 8 years old and nearing the end of the line. I'm sure I could get a lot more years out of it, but do not want to chance a seam splitting.

So, here it is, The Last Sand.

Tank is looking great Bill! I'm sure you don't need help with your zoa collection, but remember the pinks I bought from you awhile back? They have grown into a nice sized colony and if you didn't get a chance to have them back yet from your tank crash, LMK. I have more than enough. I can bring some down to NY next week.

Wow. Tank totally looks different with a sandbed, it really brightens things up.

The sand looks good Bill!
It does give a tank a 'finished' look IMO, just can't get used to BB tanks.

Tell me about it guys. I tried to go BB, but it just never looked complete. I have received so many compliments after the sand went in.

I just found out that I might be able to get my new tank sooner then I thought... It'll only cost me $3k with the cherrywood and that's if I finish it myself.
