I think "plain" is a gross exageration, and certainly not a very nice way to speak of someones stuff IMO..

I think that chalice owns a handfull on the list personally, but I cant sit here and call some of them plain because of it.

I said looks plain (in the picture) compared to the some of the other chalices. Correct me if I am wrong but this is a thread about what is the MOST beautiful chalice right? Am I not supposed to have an opinion?

Of course I am partial to mine Although I'm not sure if a Mycedium belongs in the chalice category


But I gotta agree that the Bazooka Joe has the most insane pink coloration I've ever seen on a coral.

All Delight, I'm sorry to hear that your rasta died but I'm curious what happened to it? Also, what kind of lighting did you keep it under? Mine has been growing at a nice pace and has nice colors but nothing as nice as the pic you posted.

I had a blenny that was eating my chalices. :furious: Most of my chalices pulled through, but the Rasta didn't make it. There were some chalices that were more waaaay more beat up then the Rasta and they made it.

I had it under 150 watt de 20k Radium. Fairly high up. The light is about 6 inches from the surface and the Rasta was about 6 inches from the surface. I only had mine for a few months. I need to get another piece sometime.

It was blue with a yellow tail. Its in Allens, Eyecandy, nano tank now. I caught him chomping down on the flesh of one of the chalices, then realized it was him killing my other ones.

My search for the Rasta is done, thanks.

i have heard blennies do somethings but never eating a chalice. wow.
