the most DISGUSTING thing found in my tank ever

the day before yesterday, when I was cleaning the sock , one black disgusting myriapod fall out from it, and then, another one even bigger fall out. I can find the right English word to express my feelings. I'd say some F word . I hate these things. freek me out.

I thought there are 2 of them , but when I take picture today, I found it is actually one piece of that ****. the 1 bacame 2 when I turn the sock inside out.

it is about 0.7-0.8 cm wide ,and over 10 cm long..

What is it exactly ? and is there any safe way, like add some certain fish to clean these disgusting things out , in a SPS tank ?

Eunicid worm. Captive diet, zooanthids. :hmm2: I had one once that could stretch 1-1/2 meters.

Thats nothing, there is an old thread on here from a few years ago where the guy had to dismantle his tank because he found like an 8 foot worm living in his plumbing.

I'm not freaked out to easily, but If I found an 8 ft eucynid I would burn my tank.

I remember getting live rock years ago, and when I opened the box, my stomach turned. It was one of these worms, similar size to the one posted above me. Still don't like thinking about it, lol

this looks similar to the one I posted, but mine have many villus near every foot of it. so maybe different species, but similar
