Hmmmn that is an interesting looking contraption....
Where did you find all the parts for it and how much it cost you to make?
Are you talking about the plumbing picture?
A breakdown.
2 thread by thread bulkheads--2x$5.99
2 thread by thread ball valves--2x$3.99
2 thread by thread unions--2x$3.99
4 asstd hose barbs--4x$.99
Quiet One 1200 pump--$35
Hydor Flo flow through heater--$45
asstd vinyl hose and clamps--$3
So around $115 total. It's much more expensive than just throwing a pump and a heater inside the tank. It's completely worth it IMO though. If I had to do it all over I'd just buy the smallest available canister filter and plumb that through the bottom. I just don't know if I'm entirely happy with the flow put out by the pumps on some of those .
All this stuff is available at my ACE in Davis. The bulkheads aren't available at all ACEs but the rest should be.
Oh yeah, I didn't include the portion coming off the white PVC tee. That was the feed line from a dosing pump.
