The needle that wouldn't go away

Some companies,i.e. Deltec, Giesemann have skimmers using
needle wheel within a rather small box like the Deltec MCE 600 and Giesemann A 60. How did they do this without the microbubbles coalescing into one giant bubble like what happened when you used the needle wheel in the comline during the r & d stage of the doc skimmers?

I don't know, we designed our own needle wheel and it was a very unique design, we tend to strike out our own without worrying about everyboody else. We only gave up on it for the existing body but we have still been working with needle wheels and we have a new development coming soon.

I hope this new development is a compact design because
symmetry and aesthetics are qualities that make Tunze comline
filterplants look cool for in tank mounting.

It won't be an in tank unit or share the Comline body. It won't replace the existing skimmers.

The old skimer pumps used a steel shaft for the magnet, have you gone back to a shaft type turbel pump or is this going to use new motor block??

It would be nice to have a needle whel that used 21 watts per pump:-)

It is a new motor design, it will be unveiled in a couple weeks and we can discuss it more.
