Out with the old and in with the new:
Since we didn't have a lot of people wanting to pick up officer roles in the club, we do not have to have a vote, but we do have a new set of officers to lead the club into 2010.
I know all of the new oficers and I have a great deal of faith in their ability to not only keep COMAS running, but make it both better and stronger. so with that being said, at the November meeting I will be stepping down as President, as will Greg Childers and Stephanie Kohl (VP and Treasurer respectively). The new officers will be:
President George Adkins
Vice President Tony Davis
Treasurer Jacob Steele
Secretary Jeri Galzinski
On a purely personal note: I have had a great time running the club and watching it grow from a small group of 9 or 10 people to one of the larger clubs in the country. The knowledgebase that we have as a club is phenomenal and the programs we have instituted along the way have become templates for many clubs around the world. This is a great accolade for COMAS to hold and it would not have happened without all of you, the members, making COMAS a friendly and welcoming environment. I will certainly miss being President of the club and my decision to stand down was not lightly taken, but I will still be around, as will all the members of the exiting Leadership Team.
Finally, I want to wish George and his team the very best and I sincerely hope you find your new roles as rewarding as I found mine.
See you all at the November meeting,
Paul.
