I don't know where it comes from or how it has practically managed to destroy three of my aquariums (1 in the past and my 2 current tanks) but my Bryopsis problem is driving me nuts. Is it possible the Pacific in origin LR I've used in the tanks could be the culprit with Bryopsis spores hiding in the nooks and crannies? Is anyone aware of a tank with Florida aquacultured LR that has succumbed to a Bryopsis outbreak?
I'm considering scrapping my Nanocube and starting from scratch with "The Package". My 65 only has 1 Undulate Trigger and if I keep the long strands pruned, the algae actually looks nice (green is my favorite color!) but it is just not suitable for a reef. Comments would be appreciated....oh yeah, I've tried the Tech-M, hasn't worked for me.
