The plague has cometh

Morning all, so over the last week or so I've been losing fish to an unknown illness.
I've lost a white cheek tang, a firefish, a clown, a skunk cleaner shrimp, and a target mandarin. I have another clown and a hippo tang that appear to be next. The clowns look like they have (or had) brooklynella. Their skin has (had) white flaky patches on them. The hippo has been hiding and not eating for almost 5 days now. They sick fish are extremely lethargic.
Thier eyes are not cloudy and their breathing is very slow and steady.
On the bright side, my corals look excellent.

220gal with approx 30gal in the sump. Been up and running since October. Approx 100lbs of live rock. Tank was setup from a previous 90gal system that was running for 1.5yrs before it was transferred over.
No3-5 (there's been no No3 spikes. Tested weekly or more)
Nh4- 0 (I haven't had a Nh4 spike since I cycled the tank)
Weekly 25gal water changes
Temp 80f
I do not run a uv.

Setting up a qt is out. Especially since it would be next to impossible to remove the fish due to the amount of live rock. Invertebrates seem fine.
Thanks for any help.

Well, hate to break the bad news to you, a QT is your only option. Sounds like it also may be a case of flukes. If so, you can dose Prazi-Pro in your DT, being reef safe. If it is any other illness you have to take the fish out and put them in quarantine and treat accordingly. Any other medications will kill your reef. Good Luck!

In that case there is not much you can do other than wait and see who survives and then leave it at that (= no new fish!).

FYI: if you can't set up a QT, you shouldn't set up a reeftank in the first place.

And almost all fish can be caught out of a reef tank one way or the other without dismantling the tank.

i never had any issue catching fish in my 450g that had 300lbs+ live rock and tons of fragile coral everywhere. you just need patience with a net and/or a trap.

I agree. Could be Brook or Uronema
