The Platinums have arrived!!

Hey, I thought I would post some pictures because I keep getting questions on what Platinum clown fish look like.. The Platinum is also seen with two of my snowflakes to give you a good idea of the differences. I have labeled who is who.

They are all around 2".

None of my fish have come from Doni. They are from ORA.

Although I think it's interesting to breed various color morphs of clowns, I don't find these clownfish aesthetically pleasing in the least. Snowflakes are moderately interesting because they still have some more colors, but a white fish just doesn't do much for me. It will be interesting to see how they "last" in terms of public demand.

those are cool looking. it looks like they are pearl or irradescent? is that the picture or do they really look like that?

They are very interesting to just watch. Amazing how white they are.. They are more of a pearl however at times look very iridescent.

In the next few days I will try to get a good picture of my snowflake pair and my platinum pair together. It's kind of hard to get four fish to stay together for very long. I will also clean the front of the tank to avoid any algae in the picture..

Because I seem to find a lot of my pictures selling other peoples items. With my name on it, it discourages people from doing that.

My LFS has a pair and said they breed them sterile so no babies for you..... They wanted 500 for the pair Juno Beach Florida...

Who is this LFS? I am almost 100% sure they are wrong. In talking to everyone I know about breeding them, they are NOT sterile.

Maybe ORA will chime in on this, however I believe your LFS is wrong.

Chuck, those aren't TOO bad looking, IMO, and simply that.

But it's just waaaaay too much white. Picasso's either A or B are the most white I'd like to see in/on a clown.
