Great dimentions and equipment, curious how this tank will develop :) I also like the rockwork. Do you have any sump/refugium pics for us?

And what are your plans for inhabitants and corals?

Leonardo

Will post pics of the sump once i get the skimmer next week. This tank will be a SPS dominate tank. I did add a flame hawk and a 12 line wrasse to the tank already.

I only saw one vortech in the cube is ther eanother one in there? IF so where is it positioned. I really like the cube style aquariums. Bummer about the corner overflow. But still a great tank overall.

I have another vortech but haven't put it on the tank yet. Yeah the corner over flow takes a little bit away from the tank. Marineland will customize the overflow where you want it though.

really thats is interesting then cause I got a quote from glasscages in a similar tank (500-600), if you dont mind my asking what did the 150 cube run $$$$$$. Is it all tempered glass? Curious for closed loop option.

Got the lights mounted today.

I am considering getting the same tank or going w/ the same dimensions or rimless. How do you like it so far?

Also where did you get the stand from, and how tall is it? Doesn't look like the DD Marineland Stands Ive seen that come w/ the set up.

I think two vortech won’t be enough for flow, I have the same tank, and it also SPS dominated, and I’m running one Vortech , two 6100 Tunze, one 6055 for back side flow and one Korilla 3 plus return flow about 600G, and I’m still not sure about dad spots.

So far i like the tank although i have only had it for a week. The stand is 30" tall. Ima try 2 vortechs to start. If i have to add another one i will :)

My dream tank is a giant cube like yours :(

I live on the third floor so my 55 will have to suffice for now :'(

That looks just like the Marineland stand, only taller maybe. Nice setup. Did you go with the Starphire front?

Also, to DmitriyY, I'm guessing you have a bare bottom setup? With as much substrate as Qhoang has in there, he may have a sandstorm on his hands with as much flow as you.

I just ordered the 200 gallon version and can't wait to get it.

No it's not bare bottom, I have Seaflor Special Grade Reef Sand, and it's stays on a bottom no sandstorm at all, but also I had to play with pumps position and on / off on aquasurf controller.

added a small blue throat trigger today. Lights are all wired up now and ready to go. Once i get my skimmer in next week and get it all plumbed up it will be time to get things rolling.
