Acros & Wrasses
As the nTOTQ1 winner, I present to you nTOTQ2.

There are three simple rules as follows:

1) Entries must be currently running and be under 34 gallons.

2) You need to submit three pictures of your tank, and one needs to be a full tank shot.

3) You need to either submit a build thread with more information on your tank, or summarize your equipment, general husbandry etc.

Submission thread will run from now until June 15th, and a public voting thread will follow. I look forward to everyone who enters. :)

^ doesn't that have to be under 34 gallons, or is it 34 and under? Description says under 34 gallons.

34 gallons and under or up to and including 34 gallons.

Display only. If it has a sump that is not counted towards the total.

joshky, happy to see you started this thread and congratulations again. Your tank is awesome.

JJ650, great looking tank! That's some incredible growth on the red cap. How do you like the Gyre?

Thanks!
It's funny looking at that pic from 6 months ago to today. Seeing it everyday makes the growth invisible. I have a sunset monti below that is starting to really take hold on the rock. I need to take a current pic now for comparison later on.

The Gyre is nice. It definitely moves some water! But it's a little noisy. I took it off pulse mode due to the sound.
My scape makes it difficult to get flow, so I had to mount it vertically. The monti will love it, and there is enough flow going counter-clockwise to get the Duncans moving around.
I had to play with the right speed settings. It actually took a while (10minute +) to get a gyre flowing. Once it had made it thru the nooks and crannies of the rock work, the flow became very apparent. I have mine set @ 50%. Anymore than that, the flow seems to fail with irregular patterns everywhere and sandstorm.

Current equipment:
IM Fusion 40 (Display part is 30 gallons!)
ATI 6x24 Dimmable T5HO
Eshopps PSK-75 Protein Skimmer
EcoTech Marine MP10

Apex Jr. w/ Display
Tunze 5017 ATO

Husbandry:
10 Gallon water change when needed
Glass cleaned every other day, or when needed.
Fish fed morning and night (Just added more for more fish poop for the SPS)
Test Ca/Mag/Alk with Red Sea Pro kits
Dose Ca/Mag/Alk accordingly. Tank hasn't set in enough to have a solid ammount reduced daily.
Working on boosting Nitrates up a bit, hence the heavy fish stock.
