But this changes as new skimmers are released. Something that is the best today won't be the best next year. Also this will open a can of worms. I think we both been in enough skimmer threads to know what happens when you start doing stuff like this.


I think its best to leave the chart as is. People can find some skimmers in their price range and will fit in their set up. Then come here and ask what everyone thinks will be best for them.

I think the only thing we should change is the skimmer tank size rating. A lot of those are way off, IMO.

Yea, i think we should pry just leave it be. There's to many different variables out there. And this pump on this skimmer may be changed tomorrow. Everyone is going to have there own opinions on tank size ratings.

I've tried the site on 4 different PC's with Firefox and IE. I cannot download the controller or skimmer charts any more. I just get a redirect to the main page.
Can you help?????

If you DO NOT have Microsof Excel then use the HTML version. It should come up.

Let us know if you still can't view it. Theres many other ways to view it too.

Is "actual rated" column tested? Would you say that if all I care about is performance and not maintanence, quality of manufacturing, size, wattage, then the "actual rated" what I should compare to the price?

I offered to take over the project (site re-design) a while back and Robby's response was something along the lines of 'I am keeping the domain but you are welcome to do any work on it for free'. So.. my guess is no.
