Excuse the angry Nemenzophyllia I don't know if it's the power of the halide or to many nutrients. But the latter has been taken care of moving from a duel CPR to a Octopus duel HOB internal pump.

You have a 6000 gal tank? Any pics?

Don't have any pics of the tank right now, trying to get my room mate down to take some pictures. I work at the Radisson in Kalamazoo and get to upkeep their 6000 gallon. Right now it's mostly a softies dominated tank, with a couple groupings of tangs!

how big is the angler? Is it a commersons

I would say maybe 4 inches. I think so it's nothing special like warty or anything.
