I actuall found a killer 6 bulb configuration. Not too blue, no yellow hue, not too white either and very bright. You can see the purple pop really nice.

Took a bit of tweaking but this is what i came up with.

I just purchaced my ATI 6x39w power module i will be doing sps, lps and clams, could you please tell what bulbs i should get and what order they should go in for color and growth?

You might play with the position of the actinic white if you don't like it as part of Dusk/Dawn

Dump the Actinic lamp for another Blue Plus. Increase dusk dawn to about 10 hours and the rest down to about 4 hours and give it a month or so before increasing the times.

No, super actinic. You could try it in place of the aquablue but I would try it in place of the Super Actinic myself.

If the price is about the same the quality will probably be about the same.

Well the Hydroponic fixture I can get for about $160 without bulbs and the Tek is about $375 without bulbs.

That should give you a hint, Even the Sunlight supply Hydro fixtures use plan aluminum on their reflectors which don't work so well.

Hey Grim I really need help. I need new T5 bulbs. I bought the tank and the lights from a guy and Ive never used t5s before but the bulbs Ive been using since I got it are

2 Blue+, UVL Super Actinic, and GE 6500k

I have SPS, LPS, and zoas in my tank so I need something that will be right for them all. Could you help me? Im not 100% sure but Im pretty sure the bulbs are 39watt. My tank is a 40br.

What kind of color would that give the tank? I really the blue cause it brings out a lot of colors.

Hello,

A quick question, if I may.

Tank dimensions 48L x 24W X 6-8H. Approx. 30g if I go with 6".

Wanting approx 2 watts/gal.

Also striving for growth, with less emphasis on color.

Do you have suggestions on the number of bulbs that may be required (given the width of the tank), and what bulbs might be a good choice?

I have no clue about T5s i usually use MH. But want to give t5 a try. My tank 24x12x12. I want to keep my SPS dominated tank. Any recommendation on fixtures that wont break the bank and color arrangments.

I read as much as i could but still didnt really find an answer.
