I'd go with a 6 lamp ATI Sunpower. The nova wont punch down 30 inches.

wound the 6 bulb tek t5 be any beter then the nova.and would there be any bulb combos that would keep growth and corol up?

grim, i have a 30" 8x24w t5ho fixture, the bulbs need to be replaced and i hate the look of 10k and actinics, which is what is in there now. what do you suggest to bring the colors out in my corals more, no sps just lps and softies. what order would you put them in too?

I have an aquactinics solar flare and originally had 1 UVL Actinic White, 1 Figi Purple, and 4 ATI Blue Plus. When the UVL was on I felt it was too white. I tried replacing the UVL with another ATI Blue Plus, but that's too blue. Can you recommend a white bulb that is more blue than the UVL Actinic White?

This is what I uses on my SunPower 6x80w it looks 14k to me.
Bulb Order front to back.
ATI Blue Plus
KZ Fiji Purple
ATI Blue Plus
GE 6500K Daylight
ATI 12000K Aquablue
ATI Blue Plus

I am 6" off the water. The closer I place the fixture it seems to get more blue.

Yes, You can add an external clip on fan blowing over the fixture from the rear and get another 20% out of a Tek and get a really big gain.

Use 4 ATI Blue Plus, 1 UVL Actinic White and a GE 6500K Daylight.

Without knowing the dusk dawn positions I can't give you an order but place Blue Plus at the front and in the dusk/dawn positions, the GE about in the middle and an actinic white front and rear of middle with a blue plus between them and the GE, something like

Blue Plus
Blue Plus
Actinic White
Blue Plus
GE 6500K Daylight
Blue Plus
Actinic White
Blue Plus

ATI Aquablue should get you there.

Probably the UVL Super Actinic but nothing compares IMO to the VHO actinic.

on my setup i run one uvl super actinic and one sfiolgi actinic and i get the eye popping actinics like my old vho bulbs
