Let are not as good as ATI but I dont know of anyone selling ATI in this country.

Let retro is fine.

I emailed Reefgeek about ATI reflectors and they do sell them:

"ATI 24W Reflector for SunPower (Original Version - Parabolic) - $9.95
ATI 24W Reflector for SunPower (Current Version - Bent Reflector) – $16.95
ATI 24W Reflector for Powermodule - $16.95"

I'm assuming the powermodule one is the good one correct?

I dont know what country you're in but I'm in US and Reefgeek is in in California so theyre in my country :). I guess you're somewhere in Europe

You need the retrofit reflector. SUnpower might work but not the Powermodule. CHeck with Reefgeek to see it they sell the reflectors as a retro kit so you get the lamp clips with them.

Hello Everyone-

I have two questions.

1) Would 4x 24W T5s with icecap reflectors be enough to grow SPS in a 31g (25x18x16)?

2)Could I run all 4 T5s off a single Workhorse 5 ballast?

Thanks! :)

Grim,
I feel bad asking because I'm sure you've answered this at least a hundred times.
I have a 6 bulb NEP fixture that has the original current bulbs still in it. They are about 10 months to a year old. I want to get as close to a 20K (blueish) look as I can. Can you please make a recommendation? Thanks in advance.

6 would be better but 4 will work if you are careful. WH5 will work for 4 lamps.

Maybe you should have read the hundred answers :D

5 ATI Blue Plus and 1 ATI Purple Plus for a really blue look or swap a blue blue for a ATI Aquablue for a brighter "20K" look

Hi Grim,

I have a 6 bulb ATI fixture coming to me on Friday. I am all set to use 4 Blue+ bulbs in it. Most of my corals are LPS and heavy on the greens and reds. What 6 bulb combo would you suggest and in what order?

Thanks!
Killa

Grim, I see you sticking an ATI purple plus where you used to suggest a UVL actinic white. Why? What's the difference.

Sweet! Thanks Grim. I'll add the Purple Plus and Aquablue special once I'm ready to change bulbs.

Right now I have 4 Blue+ bulbs and 2 UVL 75.25's. What combo from front to back would you run those bulbs until I can buy the new ones?

Thanks!

Grim,

Have you seen the Aqua Science Duo and KZ New Generation in action? Which one is bluer overall?

I really need to replace my Aquablue from ATI. It is driving me nuts how white the tank is. I put a Gmann Pure Actinic in place of the Aquablue for a few days and liked that look but it was too dim overall. The colors popped like crazy though for me though.

Deciding on lighting for my 90 gallon (48 1/2 x 18 1/2 x 25 3/8) when I upgrade. I want to have a mixed reef but SPS dominate for sure.

I am going with a TEK fixture but not sure on whether to go with the Elite or Standard fixture. It is about 120 more dollars and I don't know if I should pay that for a fan? I also have been reading and not sure if I should go with a 6 bulb or 8 bulb fixture. I have read that some have had bleaching with the 8 bulb.

Another thing I need to make sure on is bulbs for growth and a nice blue look. Suggestions here would be helpful also.

Thanks.

However you think it looks good.

About the same as I remember.

Thanks a lot.

Do you mind explaining why I should take the 6 bulb over the 8 bulb? I just don't want to go and spend all that money and a few months down the road regret not putting the extra couple hundred on the table.

Also can I get the order for those?

I've got a 30 gallon custom tank. Dimensions are 72"x12"x9" LxWxH. What would be the best number of bulbs or what fixture? I'm lookin for something cheap that I can put good bulbs in. I want to grow sps and all others but want mostly Sps
