i asked about a friends 38g cube and u said that the 4 lamp will be enough to keep what he wants but is the 6 lamp a better choice or to much light? o ya its the 24" fixture

Upon further review that unit does apear to have individual reflectors. Look at the picture that has Mirrored Surface on it. It looks sorta like the Aqualux reflector Horkn.
I think it might be worth a shot. I would actually try one of their 3000K "Bloom" lamps with a UVL Super Actinic and 2 ATI Blueplus lamps.
There is a thread in the SPS forum "My 55 gallon tank and corals lightening" in which Mothra posts some pics of his stuff using the 3000K lamp. Really makes the pink pop in a Millipora coral.
