Some one said that the Aqua Suns are washing out all of the blue.What does the red in the Aqua Suns do?Should I keep these bulbs or switch them with a more blue bulb?Sorry about all the ?

I personally would throw another Blue Plus in where the middle aquablue is and see what you think.

I have a coralvue actinic in right now and hate it. Also have an ATI bulb, not sure which one anymore but it is on the white side. What other bulb would go well with the Actinic for when the MH aren't on.

ATI Blue Plus. If you can run 2 lamps run that and a actinic.

Which actinic? I do run 2 and i actually think I have a blue+ in with the coralvue right now.

ATI or Geisemann actinic. They are pretty close.

Grim........Alright this is what I have come up with..Im either going with the 36" Aquactinics 5 bulb hood or the tek lighting 4 bulb hood. They both look like good choices but Im not sure if the 1 extra bulb is needed. My tank is 75 gallons 36 long * 24 wide * 20 deep. I will be keeping mainly zoos, softies and lps in the tank. Please fill me in on your thoughts and what bulbs you think I should buy...

Being 24" deep I'd go for the extra lamp. It gives you more options as far as lamp mixes and it will spread the light out a little further.

All things being equal I would not do business with the company that make the Tek. In this case the aquactinics is a little better option anyway.

I would probably add a Blue and maybe a sun in place of two of the Oceans.

Par would be about the same. It would be more spectrum and a better color IMO.

I assume the powers that be removed it. Sam was still posting after SLS pulled their stuff but I see he has now been moved on. I guess his posts would be considered commercial and now that he isn't a sponsor it probably violates the UA.

Sure, that makes sense. I wonder if they will have any forum relations at all... perhaps their own SLS forum like oceansmostions does... or if they are trying to get off the internet all together.

I don't know what they are doing. I guess they figured Sam had messed things up so bad there was no point sponsoring here anymore. When you think about it a majority of the people who know whats going on with their legal strong arming isn't going to buy from them so whats the point?
