cool, got it. So, would i remove any of the ones i already have an replace it with the 6500k? Also, which are the bulbs that are better then the URI's so that i can prepare for when i replace.

ATI's are good. I would pull a coupleactinic whites for the GE's.

I installed my T-5's on my 75 and I love them!!! I bought the 6 Bulb SLS retro fit kit with ice cap reflectors.

3 B plus
1 Aqua blue
1 GE 3K
1 Ultra act.

I was going get the IC retro, but, custom aquatics didn't have enough of them...

I'm looking at the cost of everything and I am amazed at the differences at prices. If I price all my options out it goes:

tek 24" hood 96 watts t5
legs 57.95
actual system 229.00
4 bulbs about 20.00 each = 80.00
total 366.95

nova extreme 96 watts of t5
unit itself 159.99
icecap reflectors 25 apiece = 100.00
total 260.00

sunpod 150 watts metal halide w/ six leds
itself 254.99

This tank is going to have softies and some monti's. Its shocking to see that the tek system being a 100 more of the bat is that much of a better system.

I wouldn't assume the Sunpod is better. If you are sticking to lower light corals it is probably the best choice in your case. The T5's would be a little too intense for softies in a smaller tank.

Which bulb order would be better?
This:
Back - ATI Blue Plus
2nd from back - GE 6500K
2nd in front - UVL Super Actinic
To front - GE 6500K

or
This:
Back -Geisman Aqua Blue plus
2ndin back -ATi Blue plus
2nd in front-geisman midday 6000k
Front-Ati Blue plus

I have a 6 bulb Solar Flare 48"setup. I want a slightly blue look that will show off the colors of corals (including reds and yellows). What types of bulbs should I get and where? Thanks guys.
p.s. I'm planning on a zoo dominated tank and thier colors need to pop.

Don't know what would happen with a 28 watt lamp in a 54 watt fixture, might be worth a try.

Use 1 GE 3000K, you have to call to order that, not on the website yet.
1 GE 6500K
1 Aquablue
2 Blue Plus (ATI Lamps)
1 UVL Super Actinic

But if you didnt find it...for a blue look maybe go 2 Blue+, 2 Super Actinic, 1 AquaB, and maybe 1 Aqua Sun or 6500k.
