Geiseman midday for the Aquasun, Pure Actinic for Super Actinic and the Mid Day for the GE. Of course if you can get an ATI Super white use that instead of the Mid Day but I don't think they are much available.

KinD of hard to tell from that but you can get an idea.

Most of the kelvin ratings of lamps for the aquariums are made up or are fudged a lot of time for marketing reasons.

Anyway lower kelvin is red, 5,500 kelvin is the color of daylight out side on a sunny day... 10,000 k is pretty close to white light and anything over that the higher the kelvin the more blue it is.

Allot of time you can get graphs like this rated in nanometers that can help you determine the color too...

This two hamilton lamps a 10k and 20k. as you can tell the 20k has allot more blue in it...

I am curious about this, because it looks as though you can mount it on the very edge/top of your tank, and then fix it to lift up like it were hinged... this of course is just something I am thinking, and nothing I know

Has anyone had any experience, or knowledge about this fixture?

I am actually after a purple look. Could you tell me, in your experience, what T5 actinic brand(s) are the MOST purple? Thanks!
 
The Pure Actinic G-Mann is more purple but you really don't see as much light as with a Super Actinic. If you want a purple look run a super actinic and a GE 3000K.

I have a 5x39 aquatinics fixture. I have been running 2x uvl super actinics 2x uvl actinic whites and 1x uvl aqua sun. One of my actinic whites quit working and i was going to replace it . What do you think about this combo? Should I try some new combo?

OK reason I'm asking is because none of the wiring diagrams/schematics I've come across state anything about T5 lamps. This is taken directly from IceCaps website. Only mentions T12 and T8. So why can't I run 4- 36" (39w) lamps as long as I'm under the max wattage figures of 330 watts?
Is it an impedence factor (ohms)?
Anyone tried it yet?

Because Ice Cap says so, numerous times. You can post the question in their forum. I believe it is because of the higher impedance of the T5 lamps

Front
1 - 54 watt T5 HO DD Actinic+
1 - 54 watt T5 HO DD Aquablue
1 - 54 watt T5 HO DD Aquablue
1 - 95 watt UV Super Actinic VHO (Dusk/Dawn)
1 - 24 watt T5 HO ATI AquaBlue
1 - 24 watt T5 HO ATI Blue Plus

I am planning to change this configuration because I notice that most of my sps are either brown with a little color. I was thinking of changing the 24 watt to 36 watt and changing the VHO to a 36 watt T5. Since I live in Canada I only have access to these T5 bulbs:

Please note my configuration of my tank can only take 3-48" and 3 -36". Currently I have the 3-54w on an Ice cap 660, 1-95 VHO on Fulham workhorse 5 and the last two 24 watt on a WH5 ballast. What would be a good combination. Please help.

If that Aquaflora lamp is a pinkish looking one throw that in instead of one of the aquablues and see what you get. Red Light will really bring out pink and purple colors that are lost in blue light, I would move that Super Actinic a little more toward the front so the light is striking the viewing side of your corals.
 
Where is the thread for the par on the individual lamps again I can not seem to find it?...

Grim,

If I go with the Aqua Blues, Aqua Flora, Super Actinic and Blue Plus which way should I arrange the bulbs and how should they light up in sequence since I have three ballasts.
Thanks for your help.
