I would appreciate it, if you could give me some advice.
I have a 15 gal sump divided into 3 sections, one being a small refug. I am using a clip light over it with a 6500k daylight energy bulb 60 watt. 12/12 on / off cycle. Chaeto in it is growing great , but I notice a small amount of red algae on some of the rubble in the bottom. it's defiantly algae & not slime. Could this 60 watt bulb be too intense for this small of a section, I have seen a 40 watt similar bulb available.
What would you recommend.
