The Tank is in the Room!!!

I like to DIY stands myself. the contact paper was a great I idea.

Let me know if you need some frags I pass though Lenoir City going to Riceville and Sweetwater alot.

I like an all black tank....Mine even has a black plexiglass background.

Randy: I'll have to get the measurements to give you exact, but I'm thinking 25-30 gallons. I do have a skimmer........a Red Sea something? I'm not sure if it is "the one" but I'm still trying to figure out skimmers in general. It is hooked up, but I don't think I have it set right or something.
 
Tempest: you are not intruding at all. Thanks! I have a big pile of rock in the middle of it now..... just waiting to do some aquascaping.

Well, I say "intrude" because I'm not a club member. ;) I enjoy lurking in this forum, though, and I look forward to attending a meeting at some point in the future.

Look forward to seeing the end product of your efforts on this tank, too. :D

They say this because the almost #1 thing about this hobby is that its addictive... so eventually its just inevitable that you'll WANT to join. :D ;)

I know, I know... I just feel a little out of place commenting because you all seem to know each other well and I'm just a lurker. ;)

Provided I can find a babysitter I'll certainly attend a club meeting and meet some of you guys.
 
I finally got the rock in a pile that is more pleasing to the eye.

The rocks on top of the shelf will be moving and I'd like to get a couple more pieces of shelf rock for the sides. A couple of places you can see the PVC and I'll be covering those up soon. Don't know how I feel about the sides just being piled up.......

I'd love to hear all comments and suggestions :D .
